1. Speak to a clinician. A visit will help you determine if PrEP is right for you. What Is PrEP?

PrEP for HIV is short for pre-exposure prophylaxis. It is a once-per-day HIV prevention pill that reduces the risk of contracting HIV by up to 99% for those who are HIV negative and at higher risk for HIV

This pill currently comes in three forms (all equal levels of protection when taken daily): Truvada, Generic Truvada, & Descovy.
